Handling wheels as they come from machining operations, deburr, inspect according to audit requirements and stack on pallets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Regular attendance and presence at work as scheduled.
Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including every other weekend
Keep line running at all times
Handle wheels
100% visual inspect using inspection sheet
Deburr all sharp edges
Remove all chips from wheel
Check plate and pin according to line and wheel model
Checks cap and pilot 100%
Complete all dimensional audits and SPC checks on an by the required times
Make minor offsets to machines
Lift wheels to skids
Tag all skids correctly
Brush deburring, balancing, inspecting wheels, keeping wheels processed in a smooth flow downstream to the next process.
Must be able to work as a team to keep production line moving in a constant flow.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or high school certificate of completion; three to six months related manufacturing experience and training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
